[Regnum] Information from the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) about the West's plans to replace the head of the Kiev regime, Volodymyr Zelensky, speaks for itself. This was stated to journalists on July 30 by the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov.
On July 29, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service shared information according to which representatives of the United States and Great Britain, together with Ukrainian officials, discussed the prospects of replacing Zelensky. In particular, the parties advocated the appointment of former commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valeriy Zaluzhny as the new president of Ukraine.
"The information speaks for itself. There is nothing to add," the Kremlin spokesman responded to a corresponding question.
Journalist Seymour Hersh has previously stated that Washington is considering the possibility of forcibly removing the head of the Kiev regime and handing over his power to Zaluzhny. At the same time, knowledgeable officials in Washington noted that this place could become his within a few months.
At the same time, Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly emphasized that Zelensky is illegitimate. The Russian leader reminded that the Ukrainian constitution does not provide for an extension of the president's powers, even under martial law. At the same time, he noted that if the first person of the state is illegitimate, then all other bodies lose their authority.
