[Regnum] In Ukraine, in the city of Cherkassy, an unknown person opened fire in one of the McDonald's fast food restaurants. This was reported on August 7 by the Ukrainian publication Strana.
“He entered the room, fired several times, wounded himself and locked himself in the toilet,” the media outlet’s Telegram channel said.
At the time of the incident, the security system was activated - all visitors and staff were quickly evacuated from the building.
Law enforcement agencies, emergency medical services and special forces arrived at the scene of the incident. The shooter was hospitalized.
