#13 I would have to ask about the target value. Were they guarding a highly secure portal from a preemptive assault? Was the target a significant defensive launch point? Was it a munitions store? What were the follow-on actions? Or two guys smokin-n-jokin? |

#10 The issue isn't so much did a sniper fire and hit a target at that range. It's whether the target stood still long enough during the flight of the slug, less than two seconds. |

#2 2.46 miles . . . at that range the rotation of the earth itself comes into play. If you are curious, the Swedish "Maritime Sniper Manual" (available on Amazon) is the ultimate reference on the topic IMHO |
