…Those are the words of Jauan Rashun Porter, a resident of Rome, GA, who has been charged with threatening to k*ll President Trump. According to investigators, Porter joined a TikTok livestream hosted by @letfreedomrinng , where he spent several minutes making repeated threats against the President, describing how he would assassinate him, and even claiming he would k*ll federal agents. During the investigation, authorities searched Porter’s apartment and found two pipes, pistol ammunition, and Tannerite, an explosive. Porter—currently on probation—has prior convictions for terroristic threats, influencing a witness, mutiny in a penal institution, drug possession, battery, firearm possession as a felon, and domestic violence.

SOME PORTER LEGAL SYSTEM HISTORY Initially sometime in 2023, Juan Rashaun Porter, 27 of Rome, was arrested for beating a woman in the face causing injuries to her left eye, neck and face. While being taken into custody at the Red Roof Inn on Highway 411, officers said that they found methamphetamine in plain sight. A search of the hotel room to also locate fentanyl and more methamphetamine. Porter was then charged with battery, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a scheduled II controlled substance, possession of a gun during the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Then on or about May 5, 2023 — As an inmate at the Floyd County Jail, Juan Rashaun Porter, 27 of Rome, then was arrested on new charges after he injured another inmate during a fight. Porter was then charged with battery and unlawful acts in a penal institution. Despite all this history, it seems he was placed on probation???? An on his release, as a convicted felon on ???probation??, he obtained another firearm, threaten the President of the USA, and now has Federal charges that guarantee a very long stay at taxpayer expense. |
