[Regnum] Dozens of bodies of Ukrainian servicemen were discovered by Russian fighters during a cleanup of houses in the village of Iskra in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry.
“It turned out to be an improvised semblance of a hospital for the 5th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade, where the wounded were bandaged and given painkiller injections, after which they were left to die,” the defense department explained.
It is noted that during the liberation of Iskra, the Ukrainian Armed Forces stubbornly resisted. Russian units broke the defense and completely drove the enemy out of the settlement.
Also in Iskra, Ukrainian militants killed a pensioner who, together with her husband, was trying to leave the village.
Russian troops in the Kursk region are evacuating abandoned bodies of Ukrainian fighters and foreign mercenaries. Nationalist prisoners of war have repeatedly confirmed that Ukrainian commanders ordered their subordinates via radio to finish off seriously wounded comrades during the retreat.
