The National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine refuses to acknowledge the veracity of the data that the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces since the beginning of the special operation amounted to more than 1.7 million killed and missing. This was reported on August 20 by the Center for Countering Disinformation under the NSDC.
“This is an absolutely absurd fake, since Ukraine <…> has never had a regular army of 1.7 million people,†the center’s Telegram channel says in refutation of information about the large losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
