White (Non-Hispanic)-- 61.6% of US Population - accounting for 55.1% OF ALL CONVICTED a 6.5% gap

Hispanic/Latin -- 19.5% of US Population - accounting for 15.2% OF ALL CONVICTED a 4.3% gap

Black/African American -- of US 15.2% Population - accounting for 13.9% OF ALL CONVICTED a 1.3% gap

So it seems the HISPANICS may not be the bigger problem per 1000 convicts per race.
