#2 Indeed! That whole Germ Theory of Disease thing is rather preposterous. Sure, diseases are caused by tiny invisible creatures attacking us. Seriously, tiny invisible creatures? One might as well believe in demons and fairies as so-called 'microbes'.

#3 My wife and I (both closer to 80 than any other number) were talking about this today. Neither of us has seen a real doctor (an MD) in more than three years. It's all PAs and NPs. The only way to see a real doctor is to go to the emergency room with something life-threatening, and even then it's a "maybe". And just TRY to get a prescription for pain medicine. Or get a prescription refilled without visiting the "doctor's" office. Thermonuclear weapons aren't destructive enough.
