It released aerial footage of the air strike on the vehicle, showing that the car was hit while travelling on a street next to other vehicles.

In a statement, the army claimed Baajour was behind rocket launches against Israel, and worked to entrench Hamas in Lebanon while procuring weapons through clandestine networks across the region.

According to Lebanon's National News Agency, the country's Health Ministry put the final casualty toll of the bombing in Tripoli's Ayrouniyeh at three people killed and 13 injured.
