#1 In his first term Trump did make some progress on border security, although not enough.

Unfortunately the first term had the Covid emergency which had enormous negative consequences, including declining performance in education and egregious fraud under the CARES Act. Trump's administration was partly to blame for this by declining to issue enforceable rules although the State Governments were far more blameworthy in issuing loans and grants based on obviously phony applications.

#3 My impression is that Bill Clinton was a hedonist who did — and probably overdid — all the things, whereas Donald Trump’s joy is in hard work, and because his real estate clientele could be found in places where rich people party, he and his wife (whichever one it was at the time) went to those places to shmooze.

The former is much harder on the body than the latter. And of course, I could be totally wrong about both men.
